This is a fine art series of cowboys and the rodeo.
My wife, Bette, photographed Bill Bowen and me while we were hard at work photographing Shafer Bergman with his brothers the day before his Bar Mitzvah. Bill and I have known one another for nearly 30 years. Bill is an accomplished video production expert and photographer who is respected highly by his clients and peers.
This has been a very busy month for Carl Cox Photography. My associate photographer’s Bill Brouillette and Nesh Brankovic have been very busy helping me and have been indispensable. This is a gallery of a few images from an assignment early this month which included a speech from Hillary Clinton to the Building, Construction and Trade Unions.
A few years ago my wife , Bette and I, were scheduled to take engagement photos for a couple at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. As it turned out that’s where they were first introduced to one another while working there. It was great because it presented an opportunity to work with the couple before we photographed their wedding which was on the Eastern shore. As a bonus we were allowed to photograph the animals behind the scenes after we finished with the couple. I was born in Washington, DC and as a youngster spent many hours at the National Zoo so one can imagine how excited this made me! Well, as it turns out, Devin Streight, now my part time assistant, wants me to take him back for a school photography project and here I am years later getting all excited again.
I am a Nationals fan, after all, Washington, DC is my hometown.
Photographed at the Metro Marriott in Washington, DC
