In 1970 I was commissioned to photograph students in a Potomac, Maryland ballet school and the object was to make display prints for the school. The images were captured with a Hasselblad 500CM and everything was done in black & white film on location. My hope was to sell some of the images in a few years for photo stock. As it turned out one of the images was printed on canvas then framed and auctioned for a considerable amount of money at a fund raiser for the National Ballet just two years ago. My advice to young photographers would be file and save your work. .
