Rachel and Kyah

South Wind Farm in Damascus, Maryland where Rachel Matthew’s shire Kyah is boarded.  “Clydesdales are a Scottish origin breed, and Shires are English. Clydesdales tend to be smaller and have shorter legs than Shires. … The Clydesdale was created and enhanced by the Belgian Draft and Flemish stallions during the mid 18th century and replaced the use of the Shire in Scotland.” This was one of those exciting assignments that transported my wife and me into a world that was different from anything we have ever experienced. We went through an entire class session watching the two of them actually transform into performing dressage. We photographed hundreds of images and after editing realized that we need to do this again. The images shown here are a small collection extracted from the total shoot.
